FENRIR LLC collects only the information reasonably needed to operate, support, secure, and bill for B.O.T.D. The current coaching application may store plays, drills, and playbook material locally in your browser. Stripe handles payment-card information. We do not sell personal information.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how FENRIR LLC (“FENRIR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with B.O.T.D. Hockey Playbook Studio, botdhockey.com, related applications, checkout, support, and services (collectively, the “Service”).
This Policy does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party services, such as Stripe. Their policies apply when you interact with them.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
Depending on how you use the Service, we may receive:
- Your name, email address, organization, and support correspondence.
- Subscription status, transaction references, amount, date, tax, promotion, and billing status supplied by the payment processor.
- Team names, colors, rosters, player names or nicknames, numbers, positions, handedness, plays, routes, notes, telestration, images, and other coaching content you choose to enter.
- Feedback, feature requests, and information you send when asking for help.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting, security, and service providers may process limited technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, requested URL, timestamps, and diagnostic or security events. We use this information for delivery, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and service protection.
We do not intentionally collect precise location, contact lists, health information, government identifiers, or player contact information through the coaching interface.
3. Local browser storage and coaching files
The current B.O.T.D. application may store plays, drills, playbook material, rosters, preferences, artwork, and application state locally in your browser or device. Local storage allows the application to retain work between sessions without automatically transmitting every coaching file to FENRIR.
Clearing site data, using private browsing, changing devices, resetting a browser, or deleting application storage may remove locally stored information. Use available export or backup tools for material you need to preserve.
If FENRIR later introduces account-based cloud storage, this Policy will be updated to describe the information stored, retention, access controls, and deletion process before that feature becomes generally available.
4. Payments and Stripe
Stripe processes subscription checkout, payment methods, tax calculation when enabled, receipts, refunds, disputes, and recurring billing. FENRIR does not directly receive or store your complete card number, card security code, or bank-account credentials.
Stripe may provide FENRIR with your name, email address, billing address, payment status, transaction amount, tax, promotion code, subscription dates, payment-method category, and identifiers needed to administer the subscription. Stripe’s own privacy notice and terms govern its processing.
5. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Process subscriptions, verify payment status, administer promotions, and provide customer support.
- Respond to requests, diagnose problems, and communicate service or policy changes.
- Protect users, FENRIR, and the Service against fraud, abuse, security threats, and unlawful conduct.
- Comply with tax, accounting, legal, and regulatory obligations.
- Analyze aggregated or de-identified information to understand product performance and priorities.
We do not use coach-entered youth-player information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
7. Youth-player information
B.O.T.D. is designed for adult coaches and organizations and is not directed to children under 13. Children should not create accounts, purchase subscriptions, or submit personal information directly to FENRIR.
Coaches may enter limited roster information about youth players. The coach or organization is responsible for authorization and data minimization. Use initials, nicknames, numbers, or positions when full names are unnecessary. Do not enter birth dates, home addresses, personal email addresses, phone numbers, medical details, school records, or government identifiers.
If you believe a child submitted information directly to FENRIR without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
8. Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including service delivery, support, security, accounting, tax, dispute resolution, enforcement, and legal compliance.
Transaction and subscription records may be retained for legally required periods. Support records may be retained to document resolutions and improve service. Information stored only in your browser remains under your control until you clear or delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Service. No internet transmission, browser storage, or information system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Protect your device, browser profile, exported files, and account credentials. Contact support promptly if you believe an account or subscription has been compromised.
10. Your choices and requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information maintained by FENRIR by emailing support@botdhockey.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where required or permitted by law.
You can delete browser-local data through application controls when available or through your browser’s site-data settings. Canceling a subscription does not automatically delete local coaching files, and deleting local files does not cancel billing.
You may opt out of nonessential marketing messages by using the unsubscribe method provided. We may still send transactional, security, billing, or service messages.
11. Processing location
FENRIR LLC is based in Washington State, United States. Information may be processed in the United States and in other locations where service providers operate, subject to applicable law.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as the Service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where required.
